Maui South or north shore
With space to slow down and settle in, this session offers the perfect balance of ease and depth. Over the course of an hour, we’ll create a relaxed, artfully guided experience—capturing honest connection, subtle details, and portraits that feel both natural and elevated. Ideal for couples, families, maternity, or personal branding, this session is designed to tell a fuller story without the pressure of the clock.

Step 01
Connect & Plan
Start by reaching out with the dates that you’ll be on Maui, your preferred location, and a bit about what you’re envisioning for your portrait session.
To reserve your date, you’ll sign an electronic contract and pay a non-refundable 50% retainer.
Step 02
The Session
During our time together, I’ll gently guide you while creating space for natural connection. It’s a balance of intentional direction and candid moments—resulting in portraits that feel effortless, emotive, and refined.
Step 03
The Gallery
Within a few weeks, you’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery filled with fully edited images. You can download, share, and order prints or artwork to bring your photos into your everyday life..

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we get take photos off-the-beaten path on Maui?
It’s important to respect the Hawaiian culture and obey all laws regarding photography sessions. This means that many remote locations and waterfalls on Maui are off the list. However, I can point you toward stunning, permissible locations that are a little more quiet and less traveled and I will assist in obtaining the proper permits.
If you want something different than a beach location, I know several Maui venues and private properties (with waterfalls too!) that offer a unique photography experience for an additional fee.
What should I wear for my portrait session?
I’ll send over some style guidance after booking to help you feel confident and comfortable in what you wear. I also offer personalized guidance based on your vision and location.
I’m not used to being in front of the camera— Will you help guide me?
Absolutely. Most people that I photograph say the same thing at first. I’ll gently guide you into natural movement and connection, focusing more on interaction than posing. The result? Images that feel like you—genuine, comfortable, and beautifully composed.
What if it rains?
I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session, especially here on Maui where conditions can shift quickly. Wind or overcast skies adds to the mood and magic. It’s rare for there to be rain all over the island, so it’s often possible to move to a different location if it is raining. If it is one of those rare, all-island rain days, we will reschedule to another date while you are here on Maui or I will refund you if that’s not possible.
