Places to Visit in Maui, Hawaii | The Sacred Garden

One of my favorite activities to do with my boyfriend's children is geocaching.  Geocaching involves using GPS coordinates to hunt for hidden "treasures", which are containers or objects that are placed in various outdoor locations.  Recently, we were searching for geocaches in Upcountry Maui, and we stumbled upon a geocache that is located on the stunning property of The Sacred Garden in Makawao.  That led us to spending a few hours exploring the beauty and peace with the Sacred Garden.

The Sacred Garden is a non-profit botanical garden that is free to the public.  The Sacred Garden features an amazing collection of plants, flowers, living shrines, two labyrinths, and plenty of space to mediate or connect with friends and loved ones.   They also host a variety of groups, organizations, classes, and retreats.  Whether you are visiting Maui or you live here, be sure to check them out!
