Wailea Maui Beach Elopement Photography

Amanda and Cody traveled from Alaska to get married (and then honeymoon) on Maui. One of the greatest advantages of having a wedding on Maui is being able to stay for the honeymoon and enjoy all that Maui has to offer! Amanda and Cody were thoroughly enjoying their stay on the island by the time that I met them to photograph their elopement on one of the stunning beaches on Maui’s South Shore.

This couple’s wedding rings with sapphires and diamonds were stunning (scroll to see the detail shot)! I also loved Amanda’s “barefoot” sandals that she found on Amazon (I’ve also seen some great options on Etsy). Most of my clients choose to go barefoot on the beach, but this was a sweet, delicate touch for a bride that wanted a little bit of detail on her feet. Another detail that I loved was the “Just Maui’d” sign that Amanda and Cody found at a gift store on Maui. So cute and unique to this beautiful island oasis!

The sunset was exceptionally beautiful this evening, producing that soft, golden glow that photographers dream about. I can’t promise that a sunset will happen during a beach wedding/elopement, but it’s always exciting when it does!

Ho'omaika'i 'ana (Congratulations), Amanda and Cody! It was a pleasure to be your Maui elopement photographer! I hope to see you back again on Maui again someday!
